Typhoon Lingling became one of the most powerful typhoons to strike South Korea... wiping the peninsula over the weekend leaving at least 27 casualties in South Korea.<br />According to the latest updates by the nation's Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters... three people had died as of 7PM Sunday.<br />13 civilians and 11 fire and police officers were injured.<br />Around 36-hundred buildings had also reported damage.<br />And the typhoon damaged over 14-thousand hectares of crops.<br />Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon will visit the damaged areas later this morning, and closely assess the damage.<br />
