Time now for our "Life & Info" segment... where we focus on information useful for your everyday life.<br />We begin with damage relief measures by the government for businesses affected by Typhoon Lingling, the 5th most powerful typhoon to hit South Korea since the 1950s.<br />The Korea Development Bank and the Industrial Bank of Korea have decided to postpone loan repayments by up to one year for companies affected by the storm.<br />Commercial banks have also proposed plans for recovery loans at low interest rates.<br />The National Tax Service is also offering assistance with taxes.<br />It will extend the tax due date for a maximum of nine months for those that apply.<br />Those affected by the typhoon can apply for assistance on the National Tax Service's website.<br />
