The UN has warned that climate change is the greatest ever threat to human rights.<br />The warning came from the UN human rights chief Michelle Bachelet during the 42nd human rights council in Geneva on Monday.<br />She blamed climate change for civil wars and the plight of indigenous people in Amazon.<br />Denouncing the drastic acceleration of Amazon deforestation, she urged leaders of Bolivia and Brazil “ensure the implementation of longstanding environmental policies" to prevent future tragedies.<br />She also added that she was "alarmed" that migrant children are still being held in centers in the U.S. and Mexico.<br />
