Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad today called on party members to avoid being rejected by the people by learning from Umno’s defeat in the 14th general election.<br /><br />He said this during a prayer ceremony in Shah Alam last night in conjunction with Bersatu’s third anniversary.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Bersatu leaders were also reminded not to “worship” money and power if they wanted to maintain the party’s hold on Putrajaya.<br /><br />Mahathir said the party’s cause must be based on the nation and race.<br />
