Eating just a teaspoon of unpasteurized honey can lead to headaches, dizziness, weakness and vomiting that can last up to 24 hours. It is possible that more than one teaspoon can kill.<br /><br />9. POTATOES<br />Potatoes have both poisonous stems and leaves. Most potato-related death deaths come from eating green potatoes or drinking\potato leaf tea.<br /><br />8. TOMATOES<br />The juicy, red fruit contains a poison, glycoalkaloid, in its leaves which is known for causing upset stomachs, severe cramping, and anxiety. So steer clear of the leaves and stems.<br /><br />7. RED KIDNEY BEANS<br />Red kidney beans contain toxins called lectins, which essentially kill the cells in your stomach. The only way to enjoy red kidney beans without this harmful toxin is by preparing them just right. Soaking the beans in water for at least five hours before consumption. Otherwise, eating as much as a half a cup of raw red kidney beans can make you seriously ill.<br /><br />6. ALMONDS<br />This seed (nut) may pack in many health benefits but they are also potentially full of poison. Bitter almonds, while in their raw form, are full of cynaide. They need to go through a specialized heat treatment (more than oven roasting) in order to remove the toxins.<br /><br />5. APPLES<br />Apple is nature's candy, but stay away from the seeds (as well as the bark and leaves). They contain amygdalin, a compound that produces cyanide. Large doses can lead to dizziness and vomiting, increased blood pressure, kidney failure, coma, and even death.<br /><br />4. RHUBARB<br />Rhubarb leaves, are not supposed to use in baking or cooking. It contain oxalic acid, which causes kidney stones.
