Bizarre footage of the annual onion eating contest which took place at the Newent Onion Fayre in Gloucestershire in the UK today (September 14).<br /><br />The men are challenged to eat a raw 7 oz onion in the fastest time possible, while the women must eat a smaller 5 oz onion. <br /><br />This year’s winner of the men's competition was Alex Navari while Leanne Wright snatched glory in the women's event.
