South Africans from all backgrounds came together for an emotional farewell to rugby legend Chester Williams on Saturday. <br /><br />Williams was part of the winning 1995 Springbok team, which won the World Cup against New Zealand's All Blacks.<br /><br />The Springbok win against the All Blacks in 1995 was an historic moment for South Africa, as it had just the previous year elected its first democratic government. <br /><br />Images of the then Springbok Captain, Francois Pienaar, holding up the Webb-Ellis Cup with former President Nelson Mandela, became an iconic image of unity between black and white unity in South Africa. <br /><br />Chester Williams was the only black player in the 1995 South African Rugby Team sent to participate in the Rugby World Cup.
