The Presidential Office has given an optimistic outlook on the nation's annual job growth. <br />The senior secretary to the president for jobs said Korea looks to surpass its initial outlook for job growth this year-- to reach an average over 200-thousand jobs created per month.<br /> The official said August's jobs report released last week was a clear sign that the labor market is improving for most sectors and age groups.<br />Last month, the employment rate was at the highest it's been in 22 years for the month of August and the unemployment rate was the lowest in six years. <br />The top office added it will work to continue the trend by pre-emptively countering threats caused by industrial restructuring and by strengthening the social safety net. <br />
