The Korean capital Seoul has the 6th most expensive grocery prices in the world... higher than New York and Tokyo.<br />This is according to global database Numbeo that analyzes the grocery prices of 377 cities, comparing staple items like a carton of milk and a loaf of bread.<br />Seoul stands at 101 points, roughly 5% higher than New York, and it was up nine notches from last year.<br />New York and Tokyo were placed 7th and 15th respectively.<br />The five cities with the most expensive groceries were all in Switzerland, with Zurich topping the list.<br />Seoul ranks 26th in terms of cost of living overall,... making the top 10% of the most expensive cities to live in.<br />
