In a tragic road accident, a police constable lost his life after supari (betel nuts) laden truck bearing registration RJ 04 GB 8069 hit him near National Highway at Borbali area of Manikpur under Bongaigaon District. <br /><br />The deceased police constable was identified as Ramiz Uddin Ahmed. <br /><br />Another on duty police constable Kisthuram Nath received severe injuries and was shifted to Manikpur Adarsh Hospital for better medication.
