A boy was lifted up by an escalator after climbing onto the handrail at a mall in southern China. <br /><br />In the CCTV video, shot in Shaoyang city in Hunan province on September 11, the toddler clings onto the handrail whilst being lifted up.<br /><br />A shop worker standing on the top of the escalator saw the boy and immediately went to help him.<br /><br />According to reports, the boy was shopping with his mum but ran away to play on his own.<br /><br />Finally, the boy's mum arrived and took him back.
