Rob Schneider Criticizes <br />'SNL' For Firing Shane Gillis In a new tweet, he compared <br />the move to an "inquisition." @RobSchneider, via Twitter Schneider previously starred on the <br />sketch comedy show back in the early 1990s. 'SNL's' decision to fire Gillis <br />came after a podcast clip surfaced <br />of him mocking Asians. The audio came to light only four days after Gillis announced he joined the cast. Fellow comics Bill Burr and Jim Jefferies have also since ripped the move by 'SNL.' In a recent interview, Jefferies recalled John Belushi portraying a samurai on the program back in the 1970s.
