South Korea's ruling party and government will revise guidelines for prosecutors to restrict leaks or the disclosure of details of investigations to the media.<br />At a meeting Wednesday,... the two sides said the move is aimed at reforming the prosecution and better protecting peoples' rights.<br />It means prosecutors will be strictly regulated,... while the details of probes will not be known until a trial begins.<br />But the two sides agreed the new measure will take effect after the investigation into the family of newly-appointed Justice Minister Cho Kuk....regarding allegations of dubious investments in a private equity fund and fabrication of his daughter's academic records is complete.<br />The issue has become a center of debate,... with some questioning whether the changes were solely for the new minister's benefit.<br />The two sides rejected such claims,... saying the move was drawn up under the previous justice minister.<br />
