A young male koala was left to die in the middle of Gorge Road near Chain of Ponds, South Australia after being brutally hit by an oncoming vehicle.<br /><br />Footage from November 16, 2016, shows a mother and daughter tending to the injured koala after the incident where they waited for help to arrive. <br /><br />The filmer said: "We sat with both the injured koala and gentleman who saved him."
