A group of policemen carried a pregnant woman on a cot for a mile in northern India after the ambulance failed to reach her home.<br /><br />The incident took place on the night of September 15 near Bhareh in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah district.<br /><br />Footage showed three policemen and a relative of the woman carrying the cot.<br /><br />According to local media, the woman was being carried to the ambulance by her family members when police was alerted.<br /><br />Fearing for the patient's life, a team consisting of Ravindra Singh, Sumit Kumar, Anuj Kumar and Sachan Singh rushed to help the woman.<br /><br />They said the area was flooded due to heavy rain.
