Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has confirmed that a law to regulate political financing will tabled in Parliament soon. <br /><br />A law on political funding was first proposed in 2015, after the 1MDB scandal and allegations that Najib received US$681 million into his personal accounts.<br /><br />However, the BN-era bill was never brought to Parliament.<br /><br />The next Parliament session will last from Oct 7 until Dec 5.<br />
