South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha toured two U.S. military bases in South Korea today Camp Humphreys and Osan Airbase... and met with U.S Forces Korea Commander Robert Abrams.<br />She was accompanied by the U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, Harry Harris.<br />The foreign ministry said the tour was part of efforts to reaffirm the two countries' alliance.<br />There had been concerns relations had been damaged when Seoul refused Washington's call for a military intel-sharing pact with Japan... to be renewed.<br />Kang also emphasized the need for close coordination for peace and the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula... during a luncheon held with 20 air force personnel from the two countries.<br />
