Jeff Bezos Unveils New <br />Plan to Tackle Climate Change By making the "Climate Pledge," <br />Bezos has committed Amazon <br />to achieving the Paris Climate <br />Agreement's goals, 10 years ahead of time. Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, via CNBC Bezos committed Amazon <br />to other standards, including <br />keeping regular track of its emissions. By 2024, the Amazon CEO <br />plans for renewable energy to <br />account for 80% of the company's needs. Bezos plans for Amazon to <br />operate at zero emissions by 2030. In order to assist in these goals, <br />Amazon will purchase 100,000 <br />electric delivery vans from the auto company <br />Rivian. The vans will all be on the road by 2024. Amazon also committed to a <br />$100 million donation to The Nature <br />of Conservancy, in order to establish <br />the Right Now Climate Fund.
