After four years, Lionel Messi has retaken FIFA's best player of the year award.<br />The Argentinian forward won the best men's player at the FIFA Awards ceremony in Milan with a total of 46 points, beating Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo.<br />This is the sixth time Messi has been voted the world's best - one more than his rival Ronaldo.<br />Last year, the 32-year-old helped Barcelona win La Liga and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.<br />He will now go for the renowned Ballon d'Or award,… which will be announced on December 2.<br /><br />
