This is the first episode in our new series r3 that highlights the treasures of VernissageTV’s archive. R3 is a series of VernissageTV classics, now re-mastered, re-edited and reissued in High Definition. The series starts with a short that documents Tara Donovan’s 2006 exhibition at PaceWildenstein (now The Pace Gallery) in New York.<br /><br />Tara Donovan lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She is known for her use of everyday manufactured materials.<br /><br />Since her 2006 exhibition at PaceWildenstein, she had several solo shows in institutions and galleries such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego; PaceWildenstein, New York; and the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Indiana. From February 18 until March 19, she will have a solo show titled Drawings (Pins) at The Pace Gallery, 25th Street.
