MIAMI — Miami Gardens police are investigating a robbery where thieves swiped wigs worth up to $80,000.<br /><br />Thieves looted the store of its merchandise around 2:30 am on September 17th. <br /><br />Prime Trading Hair and Wigs owner, Rakib Hossain told CBS4 he received a call from his alarm company alerting him of the break-in.<br /><br />Houssian believes the criminals knew exactly what they were doing and exactly what they were looking for when they backed their U-Haul truck into the front door, ramming it three times before breaking in. <br /><br />Houssian told reporters that he believes up to four criminals were involved in the heist and that the entire robbery lasted no longer than five minutes. <br /><br />He added that some wigs he stocks are "very exclusive" and worth up to $800, however, he said he was insured for his losses. <br /><br />According to CBS Miami, the crime itself is very similar to a robbery of a similar motive, thieves plundered a store just opposite Prime Trading Hair and Wigs two weeks before; the thieves stole up to $100,000 worth of products including wigs.
