Teen Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has been named as one of the winners of the 2019 Right Livelihood Award, often called an 'alternative Nobel Prize'.<br />According to the Right Livelihood Award Foundation on Wednesday, Thunberg won the award for "inspiring and amplifying political demands for urgent climate action reflecting scientific facts".<br />She will receive her award in Stockholm in December, along with a cash prize of 103-thousand U.S. dollars.<br />Earlier at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York on Monday, she gave a fiery speech,... shaming world leaders for failing to stop climate change.<br />
