President Trump claims his administration might reach a trade deal with China sooner than expected.<br />Speaking to reporters in New York on Wednesday after signing a trade deal with Japan, Trump said Beijing very badly wants a deal, and that its already making big agricultural purchases from the U.S., including beef and pork.<br />U.S. stocks ended higher on Wednesday, after falling for three days, with Trump's comments on the U.S.-China trade deal offsetting concerns about a congressional impeachment inquiry against him, as well as weakening global economic data.<br />
