Adding fuel to the fire... as South Korea-Japan relations remain sour over diplomatic and historical issues....<br />Japan's Defense White Paper has marked South Korea's easternmost Dokdo islands as Japanese territory for the 15th consecutive year.... falsely claiming Dokdo as its territory.<br />The 2019 Defense White Paper...adopted by Tokyo on Friday... mentioned for the first time the possibility of dispatching fighter jets to the airs above Dokdo islands.<br />In response, Seoul's Foreign Ministry strongly protested against Tokyo's wrongful claim over South Korea's easternmost territory... urging Japan to acknowledge that such a move does not help the relationship between the two countries at all.<br />Seoul's Defense Ministry is also expected to summon the Japanese military attache this afternoon to lodge a formal protest.<br />
