Not one single hydrogen fluoride was exported to South Korea from Japan in August. <br />This follows Tokyo's decision to restrict exports to Seoul... of three strategic materials used in semiconductors and displays.<br /> The Japanese Finance Ministry's monthly trade statistics showed that exports of hydrogen fluoride to South Korea stood at zero for the month of August.<br />Tokyo had emphasized that it would allow exports to South Korea within 90 days if it does not find any problems with export requests.<br />Yet only one export request of the material has been allowed since July and such statistics are increasing worries for South Korean companies that rely on the materials. <br />
