The chairman of South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff will be in the U.S. next week to attend a change of command ceremony for his U.S. counterpart.<br /> General Park Han-ki will meet both the outgoing General Joseph Dunford and the incoming General Mark Milley to discuss the Seoul-Washington alliance and the situation on the Korean Peninsula.<br /> The U.S. will also organize a trilateral meeting with Park's Japanese counterpart, Koji Yamazaki, after the event.<br />This will be the first time the top military officers of the three nations will meet since Seoul's decision in August to withdraw from its intel-sharing agreement with Tokyo. <br />
