Popular heartburn drug Zantac will no longer be available at American retailer CVS over fears it could cause cancer.<br />Sales are now suspended following concerns that ranitidine products like Zantac may contain a carcinogen.<br />Ranitidine reduces the amount of stomach acid,...relieving indigestion and acid reflux.<br />France and Canada have already recalled Zantac.<br />Health authorities advise that patients taking the drug should consult with a doctor who can prescribe alternatives to ranitidine.<br />
