A toddler in north India had a miraculous escape after she was saved from drowning in an eight-foot pothole filled with water in northeast India. <br /><br />The four-year-old girl, named Vaishnavi, was passing through a lane at Ghoron ka chowk area of Jodhpur, Rajasthan on September 29, when she fell into a hole filled with sewer water and began to sink.<br /><br />Fortunately a man named Jyotiram Patil who was tending his shop nearby saw the child drowning and ran towards her, pulling her out almost immediately. <br /><br />According to locals they have continuously complained to authorities about the open main holes but have been repeatedly ignored.
