Good morning, starting with the updates on typhoon...the 18th typhoon of the season, Mitag, continues to travel in a northwest direction. It will hit Mokpo in Jeollanam-do province on Thursday morning and pass through the southern provinces before departing into the East Sea.<br />For today, Jeju will see 30 to 80 millimeters of rainfall and it will be a lot heavier on mountainous regions, while southern coastal regions will see 10 to 50 millimeters.<br />Brace for torrential showers into Thursday.<br />Temperature-wise, it's the first day of a new month but it feels nothing like October today, morning lows are ranging between 16 and 23 degrees, 4 to 5 degrees higher than the seasonal norms.<br />Seoul saw a high of 29.9 degrees Celsius on Monday and it's going to be as hot as yesterday, but southern parts of the country will see cooler temperatures due to rain.<br />That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.<br /><br />
