For the first time in over a century, vehicles move without a gasoline or diesel engine working in the engine compartment; instead there is a battery in the vehicle floor. This essentially changes the car. Also for tailpipes or a large radiator grille, there is no need. And because the internal combustion engine is eliminated, additional storage space is created under the front hood.
