The value of online shopping transactions in South Korea rose to a new high in August.<br />According to Statistics Korea, total purchases on computers and smartphones surpassed nine-point-three billion U.S. dollars.<br />The biggest increase was in food delivery, up almost 90 percent on year to about eight-hundred million dollars.<br />
