Tourists wrapped up in coats in northern Thailand on Wednesday (October 2) after officials warned of an unseasonal cold snap.<br /><br />Temperatures dropped to 10 degrees in Chiang Mai province after a cold air mass arrived from China. <br /><br />Tourists on the Doi Inthanon mountain wore coats at sunrise as they watched the mist rise from the valleys below.<br /><br />The Chiang Mai Provincial Health Office warned residents to take care during the cold weather and wear thick clothes to prevent ''cold, flu and fevers''.
