The famous street artist Banksy has opened a new exhibition in a disused shop in the Croydon area of London, which now has a new sign reading "Gross Domestic Product" on Wednesday (October 2).

"This showroom is for display purposes only. I'm opening a shop today (although the doors don't actually open)," Banksy confirmed on Instagram.

The clip, seen the day after it was unveiled, and shows crowds gathered at the windows with many taking pictures.

The "shop" also pays homage to Croydon, with an original or replica stab-and-bullet-proof vest which was worn by Croydon-born grime star Stormzy during Glastonbury Festival this year.
