Allyson Felix Breaks Usain Bolt’s<br />World Titles Record.<br />33-year-old Allyson Felix of Team USA has<br />officially broken Usain Bolt’s record for the<br />most world titles at the World Championships.<br />She took home the gold in the mixed gender 4x400m<br />relay on Sept. 29, putting her at a total of 12 gold medals.<br />Bolt previously held the record<br />with 11 gold medal wins.<br />Felix achieved the record just<br />10 months after giving birth to her<br />daughter via emergency C-section. .<br />After the race, Felix called<br />her accomplishment “really special.”.<br />It was really special… It’s been a crazy year<br />for me, so just to be here to be running with<br />this great team, I just feel so blessed, Allyson Felix, to NBC Sports.<br />Felix has won a total of nine medals at the Olympic<br />Games and is the only female track and field<br />athlete to ever win six Olympic gold medals.
