North Korea claims to have sucessfully test-fired a submarine-launched ballistic missile.<br />The regime's Korean Central News Agency reported Thursday... that a "new type of SLBM" had been successfully launched on the day before.<br />It added the missile was launched at a high angle... without revealing specific technical details.<br />Seoul's military said Wednesday... a projectile believed to be an SLBM was launched towards the East Sea, travelling 450 kilometers,... reaching a maximum altitude of 910 kilometers.<br />The launch marks the North's 11th weapons test of the year,... and the first SLBM test since late 2016.<br />
