South Korean tennis star Chung Hyeon beat 2014 US Open Champion ( )Marin Cilic in the last sixteen of the Japan Open Tennis Championships on Thursday.<br />Chung beat Cilic by two sets to one in the ATP tour match.<br />The 21-year old Korean denied Cilic his 500th tour-level win in the process.<br />This was the first time in three attempts that Chung has defeated the former world number 3.<br />He will face 2017 Tokyo champion David Goffin in the quarter-finals of the Japan Open.<br />
