Durga Puja 2019: Chandmari Rajahuwa Puja Samiti in Guwahati to celebrate their 67th Durga Puja <br /><br />Speaking to The Sentinel Digital, Chandmari Puja Samiti informed that the first puja was held in Chandmari in the year 1952. <br /><br />This year a 250 members committee was formed. They are also not going to cut cost in any security aspects. Besides deployment of volunteers and home guards, around 4 CCTV cameras have been installed in the premises of the pandal (marquee), and measures for firefighting have also been taken into consideration.<br />
