Japan is apparently hoping to hold a summit with North Korea before the year is out.<br />The newly appointed head of Japan's National Security Secretariat Shigeru Kitamura said so in an interview with Asahi Weekly set to be released on October 11th.<br />They're already in talks, he said, to set up a summit.<br />Given the organization's confidential nature and closeness to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,... experts see the comments as a sign Abe does want to meet with Kim Jong-un.<br />It's something he's said previously he would do with no preconditions.<br />
