Reports say more than 20 people have been rescued from a North Korean fishing boat that collided with a Japanese patrol ship today in the East Sea.<br />According to Japanese broadcaster NHK, the North Korean fishing boat sank completely into the water after clashing with Japanese patrol ship at around 9:10 local time.<br />Authorities still aren't sure how many people were on the boat, but they say the North Koreans were fishing illegally in what Japan claims as its exclusive economic zone.<br />North Korea claims the waters as its own.<br />
