Nobel Prize in Physics has been jointly awarded to three scientists for their discoveries in understanding the universe.<br />James Peebles, Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz were announced as this year's winners for furthering the understanding of the universe.<br />Canadian-American scientist James Peebles was honored for developing the theoretical framework that explains the history of the universe of how it swirled into galaxies.<br />Swiss duo Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz, were also awarded the Nobel for the discovery of the first planet outside our solar system orbiting a solar type star.<br />
