The U.S. plans to impose visa restrictions on Chinese officials... accused of being involved in the oppression of Muslim minorities in the Xinjiang region.<br />The move follows the Trump Administration's decision Monday to blacklist 28 Chinese entities... allegedly involved in surveillance and detention of the Muslim minorities.<br />Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the Chinese government had instituted "a highly repressive" campaign. <br />Beijing's Commerce Department denied any human rights abuses in Xinjiang and accused the U.S. of meddling in China's domestic affairs.<br />The Trump Administration's latest actions come just two days before high-level trade talks between the U.S. and China are set to resume in Washington. <br />
