Police have detained two DAP assemblypersons over their alleged connections with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).<br /><br />Bukit Aman's counter-terrorism division chief Ayub Khan Mydin Pitchay confirmed the arrests.<br /><br />The two are Malacca exco member G Saminathan and Seremban Jaya assemblyperson P Gunasekaran. It is believed the pair were detained this morning.<br /><br />Sources have confirmed with Malaysiakini that both were detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) which allows for 28 days of detention.
