Tyler Perry to Offer Housing to<br />Displaced Women and LGBTQ Youth.<br />In a recent interview on ‘This Morning,’<br />Perry shared what his new Atlanta<br />movie studio complex will offer.<br />Perry said the step he was “most excited about” is the<br />creation of housing for displaced women and LGBTQ youth.<br />Pulling this next phase off is building<br />a compound for trafficked women, girls,<br />homeless women, LGBTQ youth who<br />are put out or displaced …, Tyler Perry, via ‘This Morning’.<br />He also plans to offer an array<br />of programs to the women, designed<br />to assist them in “re-enter[ing] society.” .<br />Having a compound that's a beautiful place right<br />here, somewhere on this 330 acres where they're<br />trained in the business and they become self-<br />sufficient .. They can live in nice apartments,<br />there's daycare, all of these wonderful things<br />that allows them to re-enter society ... , Tyler Perry, via ‘This Morning’.<br />The 50-year-old filmmaker was reportedly<br />inspired to help because of his own past<br />experiences with homelessness. .<br />Atlanta has truly been the promised land<br />for me.
