Those visiting Italy's canal city of Venice will have to pay an entrance fee of up to eleven U.S. dollars starting next July.<br />Venice's council voted to impose the new tax to help maintain the city, which has been suffering from overtourism.<br />((Authorities say they will later reveal the exact fee and how it will be collected. ))<br />Those visiting Venice to study or to work are expected to be exempt.<br />
