How to Create App Shortcut to the Desktop on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?<br /><br />Step 1: First, We have to Install Gnome Tweaks Tool. Right Click on the Desktop, and then click on 'Open Terminal.'<br /><br />Step 2: Update System Repositories first by command below:-<br /><br /> sudo apt update<br /><br />Step 3: Install Gnome Tweaks by command below:-<br /><br /> sudo apt install gnome-tweaks<br /><br />Step 4: After Installation of Gnome tweaks tool, Click on 'Show Applications' at the bottom left.<br /><br />Step 5: Do a search form 'Tweaks' Open it by clicking on it.<br /><br />Step 6: Click on 'Desktop' from left Menu in Gnome Tweaks Tool. After that, click on Toggle Next to 'show icons' to make this 'On.' After that, close the Gnome tweaks tool.<br /><br />Step 7: Now, Launch 'Files' App, and then click on 'Other locations.'<br /><br />Step 8: Click on 'Computer,' and then open 'usr' folder. After that, open the 'share' folder, and then open the 'Applications' folder.<br /><br />Step 9: Now, Go to the Application. Click on it to select it.
