Shocked locals spotted a crocodile swimming near a dam in Malacca, Malaysia, on Thursday (October 10).<br /><br />The enormous reptile was seen floating on the surface of the water at the Pulau Gadong dam.<br /><br />Concerned resident Fitri Zim was walking along the banks with his friend when he noticed the killer saltwater crocodile poking its snout above the surface.<br /><br />The killer animal floated over to the bank where the group were standing before sinking back into the depths.<br /><br />Fitri said: "It can be dangerous to people passing by who do not know what to do, and it can be dangerous for the animal too."<br /><br />Fitri said that he reported the crocodile sighting to security guards at the dam who contacted environmental workers.
