Two Coal Laden trucks bearing registration number AS01 GC6628 and AS01 GC6627 were seized by a team of Forest officials and Panitola Police at Madan Mohan Jai Prakash Petrol Pump at Laipuli on Sunday in the evening hours.<br /><br />As per sources, both the driver and the handy man managed to escape from the spot.<br /><br />Speaking to the media, Forest Ranger, Manjit Sonowal informed that a task force has been formed under the direction of Tinsukia Deputy Commissioner to counter smuggling and other illegal activities in the district.<br />
