South Korea's National Assembly Speaker Moon Hee-sang has called on parliaments around the world to support the denuclearization process on the Korean peninsula.<br />During his keynote speech at the International Parliamentarians Union in Serbia on Monday,... Moon said,... a nuclear-free peninsula will lead to peace and prosperity... not just in Northeast Asia,... but around the world.<br />He noted that, while denuclearization talks are currently at a standstill,... the peninsula is where promises and agreements have to be based on trust.<br />And despite difficult circumstances,... Moon said, the related parties need to continue to talk,... and that the process needs global cooperation to bear fruit.<br />
