MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong slammed the Education Ministry for providing contradicting answers on the intake of matriculation students.<br /><br />The Ayer Hitam MP said the the matriculation programme was supposedly expanded from 25,000 to 40,000 students, including 4,000 seats for non-Bumiputera from 2,500, following a Cabinet decision in April this year.<br /><br />However, based on the ministry’s reply on Tuesday, the number of seats was still less than 40,000.
