4th Democratic Debate: <br />Best Moments Twelve candidates took the stage for the CNN/New York Times debate in Westerville, Ohio. Impeachment was the first topic, with all the candidates in agreement that Trump should be removed from office. Joe Biden defended his son <br />Hunter when asked about his <br />business ties to foreign countries. Joe Biden When asked about her support of <br />Medicare for All, Sen. Elizabeth Warren <br />refused to say if taxes would <br />increase for the middle class. Bernie Sanders said taxes would <br />go up to fund Medicare for All, but they would <br />be "substantially less" than what is paid <br />for premiums and out-of-pocket expenses. Sanders also thanked the rival candidates <br />"for their love, for their prayers" after he suffered <br />a heart attack earlier this month. Businessman Tom Steyer made his debate debut. <br />He has long pushed his signature issue - <br />the impeachment of Donald Trump. Pete Buttigieg and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, both veterans, clashed over her answer on America's role in Syria. Gabbard's view is that America’s presence in the <br />Middle East, not Trump's removal of troops, is responsible for the recent bloodshed.
